Work It Podcast: The ins and outs of the exit interview

What do you say to HR when you have already resigned from the company?

Adrian Tan and Crispina Robert call time on their role as hosts of this podcast. In their last episode together, they talk about the highlights of the last two seasons and delve into the purpose of an exit interview.

What kind of feedback is given when someone is on his or her way out and how should HR share this information and with whom?

Adrian Tan:
You will approach an exit interview in either way: one, you don't burn the bridge (by not giving honest feedback) or, you swing to the other side of the pendulum where everything is about (the company or management) and not about me.
Crispina Robert:
We spoke to Visier CEO Ryan Wong and he said AI can give you insights. Let's say you have 10 exit interviews, the software picks up some of the common things ... overwork, burnout or the manager, then naturally, you have an idea of what the problem is.
