11 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore, all imported
SINGAPORE — Singapore on Tuesday (March 16) reported 11 new imported cases of Covid-19. There were no cases in the wider community.
In its update on the coronavirus situation here, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said that all the 11 people had been placed on stay-home notices or isolated upon their arrival here and were tested while serving quarantine.
They are:

Three work permit holders who arrived from Bangladesh, Indonesia and Malaysia — one of whom is a foreign domestic worker
One special pass holder who is a seafarer. The 43-year-old woman had arrived from the Philippines on a vessel and had remained onboard until she was taken to the hospital for abdominal pain
Overall, the number of new cases in the community has gone down from four in the week before to two in the past week, MOH said.
The number of cases with no links in the community has also gone down from three in the week before to two in the past week.
UPDATE ON REMAINING CASES
The total number of infections in Singapore is now 60,128.
Of these, 59,984 people have fully recovered and been discharged, including 10 on Tuesday.
There are still 21 patients in hospitals. “Of these, most are stable or improving, and none is in the intensive care unit,” MOH said.
Another 93 patients are isolated at community facilities. They have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still tested positive for Covid-19.
Thirty people have died from complications due to the disease.
