Taxi driver Mohamed Kamal Abdul Rahim, 58, said that he often greeted the victim because he frequents the ferry terminal.

“I am shocked. I just saw her (on Thursday) sometime in the afternoon,” he said.

“She is quite quiet, but I often greet her with, ‘Hi, kakak (sister)’, and ask if she had eaten.

“She would smile and say ‘Yes’. The other cleaners there told me it’s her, and they are equally surprised.”
