Car overturns after accident on Braddell Road

SINGAPORE — A car carrying a couple and their granddaughter overturned on Braddell Road on Wednesday afternoon (March 2) causing a traffic jam on the road heading towards Bartley. No one appeared to be severely injured in the accident.
The incident took place at around 3.20pm opposite the building of Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS), the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore.
The car, which was travelling in lane two, overturned when it hit another car in lane three, said the driver who declined to be named.
He suffered light abrasions on his right shin. The two passengers in the car were shaken but were not injured and were able to walk away without assistance.
There were two people in the car that was hit. They were also not visibly injured.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) dispatched an ambulance to the scene but a 60-year-old man refused to be conveyed to the hospital, the SCDF said.
