COE prices close mostly higher at end of May 19 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mostly higher at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Thursday (May 19).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went down by 4.09 per cent to S$68,001.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums went up from S$92,090 in the previous bidding exercise to S$95,889.

For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices went up by 1.2 per cent to S$51,501.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$9,490, compared to S$9,489 in the previous bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles, premiums went up by 5.26 per cent to S$95,901.
