COE prices close mostly lower at end of Jan 5 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mostly lower at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Jan 5).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went down by 2.04 per cent to S$57,599.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums fell from S$80,989 in the previous bidding exercise to S$77,700.

For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices dropped by 4.09 per cent to S$42,200.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$9,689, compared to S$9,601 in the previous bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles, premiums went down by 1.65 per cent to S$82,501.
