COE prices rise across all categories at end of Jan 19 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices rose across all categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Jan 19).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went up by 0.52 per cent to S$57,898.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums went up from S$77,700 in the previous bidding exercise to S$82,001.

For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices rose by 1.9 per cent to S$43,001.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$10,000, compared to S$9,689 in the previous bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles, premiums climbed by 1.71 per cent to S$83,911.
