Covid-19: 2 more KTV clubs to be closed for 2 weeks

SINGAPORE — Two more KTV lounges will be closed to all members of the public from July 16 to 30 due to likely ongoing Covid-19 spread at these two venues, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said.
In its nightly update of the Covid-19 situation here, MOH said that it is investigating cases of infection among hostesses who had frequented karaoke lounges or nightclubs currently operating as food-and-beverage (F&B) outlets, as well as the hostesses’ close social contacts.
The two nightclubs are Las Vegas KTV and Tuberose KTV, both located in Parklane Shopping Centre at 35 Selegie Road.
They will be closed to break any potential chain of transmission and enable deep cleaning, MOH added.
The ministry is also extending free Covid-19 testing to members of the public who had visited these two clubs between June 29 and July 15.
Testing is also available for those who have visited similar KTV lounges or clubs operating as F&B outlets or have interacted with hostesses of any nationality in any setting during the same period.
They should monitor their health closely and minimise social interactions as far as possible, for 14 days from their date of visit or interaction.
They are also encouraged to see a doctor immediately if they feel unwell.
With the latest update, a total of nine nightclubs and karaoke lounges have been ordered to close so far.

One Exclusive at 114 Middle Road
Level 9 (L9) at 114 Middle Road
Terminal 10 at Clarke Quay
Club M at 114 Middle Road
Club Dolce at Balestier Point, a mixed commercial and residential building
Wu Bistro at Golden Mile Complex on Beach Road
Club De Zara at Textile Centre along Jalan Sultan
