SINGAPORE — American doughnut and coffee chain Dunkin’ Donuts will be temporarily closing all its stores across the island from Wednesday (Feb 23) due to an “operational issue”.
The franchise did not give more details on what caused the issue. It said in a Facebook post on Tuesday: “The health of our customers and team are our top priority.”
In response to a Facebook user's question to its post, Dunkin’ Donuts said that all 19 of the company’s outlets in Singapore will be closed until further notice.
“While we are unable to advise a re-opening date at this time, we expect this disruption to last about a week,” it added.
The company also asked customers with outstanding orders to give it time to contact them with refund details.
Dunkin’ Donuts first opened here in 2009 at Ion Orchard mall, and has since expanded to several locations around the island that include Jewel Changi Airport, Far East Plaza, Plaza Singapura and several heartland malls.
