Eligible S’poreans to get up to S$200 as part of one-off GST Voucher–Cash Special Payment

SINGAPORE — Eligible Singaporeans will receive a payout of up to S$200 under the one-off GST Voucher – Cash Special Payment by this Saturday (Nov 5), the Ministry of Finance has said.
In a statement on Tuesday (Nov 1), the ministry said the Government will be paying out a total of S$280 million for the special payment in November. The latest payout will go to eligible GST Voucher – Cash recipients who previously signed up for the GST Voucher or past Government payout schemes, and have received up to S$300 in August this year.
Those who qualify need not take further action to receive the payout. Separately, the ministry also reminded those who are eligible but have not signed up for the GST Voucher – Cash/Medisave to do so by Dec 31 this year. The ministry said it would send a second reminder letter in early November.
Eligible citizens can receive a total of S$890 million in GST Vouchers and Medisave Top-Ups this year. This includes S$280 million from the one-off GST Voucher – Cash Special Payment. For more information, visit www.gstvoucher.gov.sg.
