Man dies following fight at coffee shop near Kitchener Road in Farrer Park area
A small pool of blood could be seen about 50m from Kim San Leng Eating House.
SINGAPORE: A 25-year-old man died following a fight at a coffee shop in the Farrer Park area in the early hours of Sunday (Sep 22).
The altercation, which took place at Verdun Road, left splatters of blood on the ground near Kim San Leng Eating House and also a short distance away in front of the Novotel Singapore hotel along Kitchener Road.
The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received calls for assistance at about 4.05am.
Two men aged 24 and 25 were unconscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
The 25-year-old man subsequently died, said the police, adding that investigations are ongoing.
The other man sustained injuries.
According to an 8world report, the fight took place at a coffee shop near 16 Verdun Road.
Two pairs of black slippers were listed as evidence, one of which was found in the coffee shop, according to a reporter at the scene.
Footage of the aftermath showed the black footwear next to some tables at the eatery, near several upturned chairs.

Police cordons were put up at the coffee shop, near an alley along the adjacent Sam Leong Road and in front of the Novotel Singapore hotel on Kitchener Road.
