Man to be charged with murder of 49-year-old at Bedok Reservoir housing unit
A 49-year-old man will be charged on April 5, 2021 with murdering another man in a housing unit on Bedok Reservoir Road.
SINGAPORE — A 49-year-old man will be charged on Monday (April 5) with murdering another man at a housing unit on Bedok Reservoir Road.
The police said in a statement that they were alerted to a stabbing incident at a residential unit along Bedok Reservoir Road around 10.15am on Saturday.
Police officers at the scene found a man, also 49, lying motionless in the unit. He was pronounced dead.
Based on early investigations, both men knew each other.
Murder, punishable under Section 302(1) of the Penal Code, carries the death penalty.
Police investigations are under way.
