SINGAPORE — The results of this year’s Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) will be released next Wednesday (Nov 25), announced the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) today (Nov 20).
From 11am, students may collect their result slips from their respective primary schools. Eligible students will also receive the Secondary One (S1) Option Forms.
In every sealed S1 Option Form, there will be a unique S1 Personal Identification Number (S1 PIN) which can be used to submit the secondary school options online via the Secondary One Internet System (S1-IS) on the MOE’s website. The S1-IS can be accessed immediately after the result slips are collected till the following Tuesday (Dec 1) at 3pm.
The option form can also be submitted through the student’s primary school. Submission at the primary schools can be made during the following timeslots: 11am to 3pm on the day of the results itself, or 9am to 3pm on any following working day.
The Secondary one posting results will be released on Dec 22 and can be accessed either via SMS (if provided earlier) or through the S1-IS online system.
Students are to report to the school they are posted to the next day.
For enquiries, parents can call the MOE Customer Service Centre at 6872-2220 on weekdays from 8.30am to 5.30pm and from 8.30am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.
Meanwhile, students who are eligible for the Normal (Technical) course and interested to study in Crest Secondary School or Spectra Secondary School should apply directly to these two schools from 11am on Nov 28 until 12pm on Nov 30.
Students are required to submit a single application form to their preferred school (out of these two schools) and can indicate whether they are willing to be considered for posting to the other specialised school if they are not admitted into their preferred school. These students are still required to indicate their choices for other secondary schools under the S1 Posting Exercise.
Students successfully admitted into Crest Secondary School or Spectra Secondary School will be informed by the schools via letter and SMS by Dec 15.
