SINGAPORE — About 7,000 athletes from 11 participating nations are expected to compete in this year's SEA Games. Today (June 5) marks the official opening of the competition, which will run till June 16.

Singapore is hosting the SEA Games for the fourth time in the competition's 56-year history. The SEA Games opening ceremony will begin at 8pm today. Follow us here for live updates from the ceremony.
