SINGAPORE — Malaysian Woo Mui Mee, 34, was charged today (Nov 30) over the death of a 76-year-old man in a Yishun flat.
She was charged with voluntarily causing grievous hurt, revised from an earlier charge of voluntarily causing hurt. Woo, who appeared in court today clad in an orange t-shirt, will also be remanded for two weeks at the Institute of Mental Health for psychiatric observation.
Woo is alleged to have used a paper cutter to inflict wounds on retiree Mr Wong Keng Woo’s left forearm at about 10pm on Nov 21 at Block 114 Yishun Ring Road. Mr Wong is said to be her landlord.
