Alvin Tan on discounts for locals to major attractions
The Ministry of Trade and Industry encourages attraction operators to offer discounts to Singapore residents. However, admission pricing is ultimately a decision to be undertaken by the operators themselves. Some attractions have differentiated pricing or seasonal discounts for locals, as well as seasonal or annual passes. Minister of State for Trade and Industry Alvin Tan said this in reply to an MP's question in Parliament on Tuesday (Feb 7).
