Amy Khor on entry of 2 new ride-hailing operators and their impact
The entry of two new ride-hailing service operators will offer drivers and commuters more choices of which platforms to be matched with for a trip based on their preferences. Senior Minister of State for Transport Amy Khor said this on Tuesday (Jan 7) in response to an MP’s question. On whether this addition would have an impact on Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices, she said that no conclusions can be drawn “about a causal link between the entrance of new operators and impact on COE prices” as COE prices are “multi-factorial in (their) determination”.
