Analyst Syetarn Hansakul on Thailand-Malaysia relations

Thailand and Malaysia are moving ahead with a special border economic zone. Both sides have also resolved a seafood dispute, as Malaysia Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim hosted his Thai counterpart Anutin Charnvirakul in Putrajaya. Deals were also signed on fisheries, agriculture and trade, as well as pledges to step up cooperation on border security and transnational crime.
