04:54 Min

NATO chief Mark Rutte has called for a "transatlantic defence industrial revolution", unveiling a raft of billion-dollar military projects. Leaders from all 32 member states, plus representatives from partner nations, are in Türkiye's capital Ankara for two days of talks. NATO's European members and Canada are working to reduce reliance on the US, which has pressed European allies to shoulder more defence costs. Mr Rutte said members have increased spending to around 4% of GDP, edging closer to the target of 5% by 2035 spelt out at last year's summit. William Denselow reports from Ankara.
