Australia passes world's first social media ban for children under 16

Australia has passed a landmark bill that bans children under the age of 16 from accessing social media -- the first of its kind in the world. It aims to hold platforms accountable and mitigate the negative impacts of the internet on youths. Platforms like TikTok, Facebook and Snapchat will be liable for fines of up to $33 million if they fail to take steps to prevent young children from having accounts. Roger Maynard reports.
