Budget 2025 debate: Darryl David on good policies and politics for Singapore to thrive
In today's increasingly fragmented world, only good policies and good politics will ensure that Singapore continues to thrive, said MP Darryl David. Speaking in parliament on Wednesday (Feb 26), he pointed out that the Budget has been lauded by many as “generous” in providing relief for the immediate concerns over the cost of living, as well as transforming the economy in the long run. He stressed the need to provide Singaporeans with the exposure and training to step up to be global leaders. He also highlighted the role of SkillsFuture in career growth and wanted to know if audits have been conducted on the courses and their outcomes.
