Canadian FM Anita Anand set to visit India as part of three-nation trip
Canada's Foreign Minister Anita Anand is visiting India as part of a three-nation trip to Asia this week. Her visit is seen as a significant step in easing tensions between Ottawa and New Delhi. Bilateral relations soured in 2023, when then-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused New Delhi of being involved in an assassination plot against a Sikh separatist leader in Canada. But, there's been a thawing of tensions since Mark Carney took over as prime minister in March this year. Rebecca Bundhun reports from Mumbai.
