Over the last twenty years, China’s influence in the Middle East has grown substantially. China has major economic partnerships with Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and also Israel. Across ASEAN, there’s been a deluge of China projects including railways, ports, EV plants, nickel plants, industrial parks etc. What are the pros and cons of all these China investments?
