Singapore has pushed for fair and equitable access for COVID-19 vaccines. This approach of vaccine multilateralism is "pragmatically necessary" if borders are to reopen, said MP Sylvia Lim. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1), she wanted to know how Singapore's contribution to the COVAX facility compares with that of other countries, whether it could channel parts of its donation to ASEAN countries and how it will help in global efforts to discourage vaccine hoarding.
