Digital communication is set to become the dominant mode of engagement among people, the Government and the private sector, said MP Don Wee in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 2). He asked how the Government plans to ensure that it reaches as many Singaporeans and residents as possible on the various digital platforms. How will it reach people who may not have the digital skills or access to the requisite hardware? He also asked if it plans to augment its digital engagement with Singaporeans in the three other official languages - Malay, Chinese and Tamil.
