As Singapore continues to support its people through the SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package, the skills picked up from the courses need to translate to real changes, said MP Sharael Taha. Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 3), he wanted to know how the training is driving real transformation. He asked if the Government can consider using a "transformation-driven metrics" to measure success instead of relying on the take-up rate. He also proposed a tiered approach to provide a basic subsidy for an employee who attends a course and an enhanced subsidy if the employee can drive change.
