Singapore should seek to strengthen cooperation among ASEAN countries, given the increasingly complex regional landscape, said MP Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim. Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 2), he said a region that is divided and distracted is not in Singapore's interests. He asked for an update on the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM). Given the developments in Ukraine, he also wanted to know how they will impact the work and security cooperation by both ADMM and ADMM-Plus, which involves eight other countries, including China, Russia and the US.
