Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 3: Tin Pei Ling on balancing competing considerations in digital transformation

Singapore's digital transformation faces several competing considerations, said MP Tin Pei Ling. Speaking in Parliament on Friday (Mar 4), she wanted to know how the Government will ensure that the public and private sectors will go digital with empowerment and inclusion as prerequisites. She also wanted to know how it will ensure that regulatory changes keep pace with tech advancement and promote innovation. She asked the Government to outline its support measures and resources to prevent and reduce online harm.
