Singapore must take stock of the lessons from the supply chain disruptions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, said MP Saktiandi Supaat. Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 8), he stressed the need for digitalisation to mitigate the risk of supply chain disruptions and stay ahead as a transport node of choice. He wanted to know how the Government intends to enhance Singapore as a reliable and resilient transport hub. He also wanted to know what opportunities are available in the air, land and sea sectors, and how the Government can develop local talent to join the emerging sectors.
