The formation of the Digital and Intelligence Service last year was a welcome development to build on the Singapore Armed Forces’ ability to defend Singapore against emerging threats, said MP Rachel Ong in Parliament on Friday (Feb 24). However, noting that the DIS will need a highly skilled workforce, and amid fierce competition in the technology sector, she asked what progress has been made in recruitment to the service.
