Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 4: Koh Lian Pin on streamlining support for climate R&D
Singapore has committed significant resources to the research and development of climate mitigation and adaptation solutions. These investments include both the creation of new knowledge through research, as well as the implementation of solutions, said NMP Koh Lian Pin in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 1). He wanted to know how the Government ensures that there is adequate coordination of these multiple and concurrent efforts, especially in terms of the need to avoid duplication and ensure complementarity, among other considerations.
