The Active Mobility Advisory Panel recently proposed a set of rules that will allow for the use of cargo bicycles and other novel mobility devices on roads and paths. In Parliament on Thursday (Mar 2), Senior Parliamentary Secretary Eric Chua said members of the public have “rightly” expressed concern. He asked what can be done to ensure that even as the authorities nudge changes in behaviour in last-mile commuting, this is not done at the expense of public safety.
