Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 5: Gan Thiam Poh on electric vehicle charging stations

The reliability of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations is crucial to Singapore’s transition to green vehicles, said MP Gan Thiam Poh. Speaking in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 2), he wanted to know the average utilisation rate for current public EV charging stations. Noting that new charging stations will be rolled out in all HDB carparks, he wanted to how many heavy vehicles and motorcycles these additional EV charging stations in each HDB carpark can support.
