Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 5: Mark Chay on a more efficient and inclusive public transport system
Referring to findings of the latest Public Transport Council survey, NMP Mark Chay asked the following questions in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 2). How will the Ministry of Transport improve waiting times for point-to-point services? How will the public transport experience be further enhanced for people with disabilities and their caregivers? Mr Chay also wanted to know about plans to increase awareness and growth of the Caring SG Commuters movement which promotes courteous behaviour on public transport, such as giving up seats to those who need them.
