Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 7: Hany Soh on understanding arts and heritage through playing and learning
Besides the Children's Museum Singapore which was opened last year, what other initiatives is the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) looking at to create opportunities for young ones to understand the country's arts and heritage through play and learning experiences? MP Hany Soh asked this question in Parliament on Monday (Mar 6). She wanted to know if MCCY is working with the Ministry of Education and the Made for Families initiative to explore more collaborations to inspire kids to pursue arts as their passion as well as deepen their knowledge of Singapore's traditional heritage and culture.
