Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 7: Muhamad Faisal Abdul Manap on improving standard of local football
In Parliament on Monday (Mar 6), MP Muhamad Faisal Abdul Manap noted the inconsistent performance of the Singapore men’s national football team since the 2021 launch of the Unleash the Roar! project. He also highlighted the need to focus on developing local players, coaches and clubs. Mr Faisal proposed an open conversation with current and former local players and coaches to discuss how former local players can be tapped for various roles to help improve the system.
