Initiatives to uplift the Malay-Muslim community in Singapore, such as the programmes rolled out by M3@Towns, are only possible through the efforts of volunteers from all walks of life, said MP Sharael Taha. Some of these volunteers have benefited from MENDAKI's initiatives and programmes such as scholarships, bursaries and awards, he said in Parliament on Monday (Mar 6). He wanted to know what more can be done to encourage more youths to volunteer and contribute to the community.
