Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 7: Xie Yao Quan on managing community disputes, rallying culture of care and active citizenry

In Parliament on Monday (Mar 6), MP Xie Yao Quan asked the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) for updates on the Community Dispute Management Framework (CDMF). He also said Singapore’s social compact must be anchored on active citizenry, volunteerism, and broader and deeper actions to help uplift one another. He asked MCCY for updates on its plans to rally both individuals and corporate entities to care and give through the SG Cares movement, National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre and other platforms.
