With data from the National Youth Survey showing that 90 per cent of young people view contributing to society as an important life goal, MP Yeo Wan Ling called for more opportunities to be created for them to further develop leadership skills, build strong networks and be involved in civic participation. She said Singapore needs youths to step up as leaders who are confident and committed to the nation and have the heart to serve. Ms Yeo spoke in Parliament on Monday (Mar 6).
