The shifting views of the US have real consequences for Singapore as the country has and continues to be Singapore’s largest source of cumulative foreign direct investments and advanced technology, said MP Henry Kwek in Parliament on Thursday (Feb 29). He asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide an update on on the economic ties with the US. He also wanted to know how Singapore can remain a trusted partner to the US and ensure that it continues to be open to US investment and business.
