In Parliament on Thursday (Feb 29), NMP Jean See asked for an update on SkillsFuture@NS initiatives that were launched in 2022. She wanted to know how the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) plans to facilitate the transition of full-time NSmen to working life, including those aspiring to become entrepreneurs or who might have to freelance if they join the creative, media and coaching sectors. She also asked how MINDEF intends to improve perceptions of the value of National Service to soldiers’ employability.
