In Parliament on Thursday (Feb 29), MP Lim Biow Chuan spoke of his “great sense of frustration” whenever he receives a complaint about noise disputes between neighbours. He expressed concern that they could even result in violence. Mr Lim asked if more can be done to compel parties to attend mediation and whether the Community Disputes Resolution Tribunals can take a more active role to resolve disputes expeditiously.
