Committee of Supply 2024 debate, Day 3: Darryl David on employment and continuing education for SPED students

Even as Singapore continues to enhance special education (SPED) and equip SPED students with academic and life skills, can it do more to ensure that they are able to secure meaningful employment when they graduate? MP Darryl David asked this in Parliament on Friday (Mar 1). He suggested that the Ministry of Education work with the Ministry of Manpower and the private sector on this. He also called for continuing education programmes tailored to SPED students to enable them to stay relevant and employable.
