MP Gerald Giam said it is crucial to help students develop good fundamental skills and also become proficient in using common artificial intelligence (AI) tools. In Parliament on Friday (Mar 1), he said all students studying at the primary and early secondary levels must be taught how to use AI. Teachers too need to be equipped with skills to incorporate AI into the classrooms, said Mr Giam.
