Committee of Supply 2024 debate, Day 5: Chong Kee Hiong on shaping Singapore's future
In Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 5), MP Chong Kee Hiong asked the Ministry of National Development (MND) if it could share the criteria for incorporating Singaporeans’ suggestions and ideas for Singapore's land use plans. He also wanted to know how MND will take into account feedback from the public for the Draft Master Plan (DMP) 2025, and asked for an update on the main developments Singaporeans can look forward to. He also wanted to know how DMP 2025 is different from previous master plans. Turning to the Voluntary Early Redevelopment Scheme, he also asked for an update on the progress of MND’s deliberation over the details for the criteria and implementation of the scheme.
