MP Joan Pereira said traffic accidents are avoidable if everyone plays his or her part. In Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 5), she said Singapore has deterrent measures but measures must also be implemented to modify the behaviour of motorists. She also asked if the Land Transport Authority can deploy more resources to catch offenders who illegally modify their vehicles to go faster.
