The public service will focus on strengthening three areas this year - building links with partners to deepen its global perspectives, integrating service delivery from a citizens’ rather than ministry perspective for a more seamless experience, and improving team development by bringing in members with diverse backgrounds and abilities. Minister-in-charge of the Public Service Chan Chun Sing said this in parliament on Friday (Feb 28). He also elaborated on Singapore’s approach towards exploratory research and development and building its quantum capabilities.
