The Middle East remains a region of both tension and opportunity, said MP Wan Rizal in parliament on Monday (Mar 3). He said that given its “dynamic” geopolitical landscape, Singapore must stay engaged to safeguard its interests and contribute to regional stability. He wanted to know how Singapore is strengthening diplomatic cooperation with countries in the region and how it will ensure its engagement there remains relevant, constructive and in line with its own long-term strategic interests.
