The cost of living, especially the price of cooked food, remains a major concern for Singaporeans, said MP Henry Kwek in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4). He asked about take-up for the budget meal initiative and what more can be done to expand affordable food choices. He also asked about raising the income ceiling for HDB BTO flats and executive condominiums (ECs) as well as increasing EC supply to give upper-middle class households more housing options.
