Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 3: Ng Ling Ling on new park at Sengkang West Industrial Estate
How can interested Ang Mo Kio GRC residents living in the vicinity of the new park to be built around Sengkang West Industrial Estate participate in giving ideas on what they hope to have in this new park? MP Ng Ling Ling raised this question in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4), noting that the location of the park is within Ang Mo Kio GRC. She also wanted to know if there can be sheltered playgrounds, exercise and fitness gyms with equipment suitable for young people and seniors to use at the park, a pets corner, as well as separate tracks for pedestrians and cyclists. She also asked if there can be a provision of space for a future MRT station in the area.
